Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy uses a flexible scope with a camera to view the colon and rectum. It detects inflammation, ulcers, growths, or cancer signs. Done under anesthesia, it gives clear images, allows removal of polyps, and helps diagnose bowel issues quickly.

Endoscopy

Upper GI endoscopy uses a thin flexible tube with a camera and light to examine the upper digestive tract. Done outpatient, it provides clear images on a monitor and is often more precise than X-rays, helping detect issues safely and effectively.

Sigmoidoscopy & Proctoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy and proctoscopy use lighted scopes inserted through the anus to examine the sigmoid colon and rectum. They help detect tumors, polyps, ulcers, hemorrhoids, or bleeding, and are used for diagnosing symptoms or screening for colon cancer.

Hemorrhoidal Band Ligation

Hemorrhoidal band ligation, which is also known as rubber band ligation is a procedure that involves tying the hemorrhoid at its base with a rubber band, cutting off the blood flow to the hemorrhoid. This procedure is performed only for internal hemorrhoids.

Esophageal Dilation

Esophageal dilation is a procedure that widens a narrowed section of the esophagus, the tube carrying food and liquids to the stomach. It helps restore normal swallowing, ease discomfort, and improve quality of life for patients with strictures or blockages.

Cancer Screening

Cancer screening for the colon and stomach uses tests like endoscopy and colonoscopy to find early signs of disease. Detecting cancer early greatly improves treatment options, increases the chance of successful outcomes, and helps patients live longer, healthier lives.
